1. OVERVIEW
Welcome to The Edits Co (“we”, “us”, “our”).
The Edits Co is the parent brand operating the following sub-brands:
The Invite Edits – bespoke and semi-custom wedding and event stationery
The Gift Edits – personalised gifts, keepsakes and event accessories
Together, these brands operate via this website and any associated online storefronts, social platforms and services (collectively, the Services).
Our Services include all related information, content, features, tools, products and services offered under The Edits Co, The Invite Edits and The Gift Edits.
Our online stores are hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform enabling us to sell our products and Services to you.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all Services across The Edits Co and its sub-brands. By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy [LINK].
If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
2. ACCESS & ELIGIBILITY
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order with The Edits Co, The Invite Edits, or The Gift Edits, including billing, delivery and contact details.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts may not be transferred or assigned.
3. OUR PRODUCTS
Product Nature
Our products include custom, personalised, handmade and made-to-order items, particularly under The Invite Edits and The Gift Edits.
While we take care to accurately represent our products:
Colours and finishes may vary depending on screen settings and materials
Handmade and printed items may show natural variation
These variations are not considered faults
Custom & Personalised Items
Orders placed with The Invite Edits and The Gift Edits are often produced specifically for you.
Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled, amended, refunded or exchanged, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
4. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE
Placing an order with any of our brands constitutes an offer to purchase.
Orders are not accepted until:
Payment is successfully processed; and
We confirm the order
We reserve the right to:
Decline or cancel orders
Limit quantities per order or customer
Cancel orders affected by errors, availability issues or misuse
If an order is cancelled, any payment received will be refunded in accordance with our Refund Policy.
5. PRICING & PAYMENT
All prices are listed in AUD, unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice. The price charged is the price displayed at checkout.
Prices do not include:
Shipping costs
Customs duties or import charges (if applicable)
You authorise The Edits Co to charge your chosen payment method for the full order amount, including shipping and applicable taxes.
6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
Shipping carriers
Customs or border processing
Events outside our reasonable control
Risk and title pass to you once the order is handed to the carrier.
7. RETURNS & REFUNDS
Returns, refunds and exchanges across The Edits Co, The Invite Edits and The Gift Edits are governed by our Refund Policy [LINK].
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for:
Custom or personalised items
Made-to-order products
Proof-approved stationery
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property used across The Edits Co, The Invite Edits and The Gift Edits — including designs, artwork, layouts, text, images, logos and branding — is owned by or licensed to The Edits Co.
You may not reproduce, distribute or use our intellectual property for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
9. OPTIONAL TOOLS & THIRD-PARTY LINKS
We may provide access to third-party tools or websites. These are provided “as is” and we are not responsible for their content, availability or performance.
10. SHOPIFY PLATFORM
Our stores are powered by Shopify.
All purchases are made directly with The Edits Co. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of transactions, products or disputes between you and us, and you release Shopify from related claims.
11. FEEDBACK & REVIEWS
If you submit feedback, reviews or testimonials across any of our brands, you grant The Edits Co a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that content for promotional and business purposes.
12. ERRORS & OMISSIONS
We reserve the right to correct errors or inaccuracies and to cancel affected orders at any time.
13. PROHIBITED USE
You must not misuse our Services, infringe intellectual property, submit false information or interfere with site functionality.
We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these Terms.
14. TERMINATION
We may terminate access to the Services at any time without notice. Obligations incurred prior to termination remain enforceable.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Except as required under Australian Consumer Law, all Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available”.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Edits Co is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to replacement or repair as permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
17. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify The Edits Co against claims arising from misuse of the Services or breach of these Terms.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains valid.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms and referenced policies form the entire agreement between you and The Edits Co, including its sub-brands.
20. ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign your rights without consent. We may assign our rights at any time.
21. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
22. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes to our website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
